Pops, you were always there for me Especially when times were tough, I could say a thousand thank you's But they would never be enough, If ever we needed a helping hand, With a job or tricky task, "No problem!" you would always say, "You only have to ask" You always were the bestest dad, We always had good fun, From watching footy on the box, And ganging up on Mum! We used to love to grab a ball, Have a kick about on the field You'd make fab stuff for fancy dress Costumes, a mask or shield! You were always there for me, On that there's no debate, The most special dad in the world to me, My dad. My Pops. My mate! Love you always dad. H xx
